Del Mar Academy is a bilingual (Spanish–English) Montessori and IB World School serving pre-K through grade 12. With around 280 students, our community is small enough for teachers to truly know their students and make a lasting impact, yet dynamic enough to foster innovation and collaboration. Our 11-acre campus - just minutes from the beach - features a science lab, sports facilities, pollinating gardens, and a design-art studio. Surrounded by monkeys, iguanas, and century-old guanacaste trees, every day is enriched by Costa Rica’s biodiversity and our shared commitment to sustainability.

How to Apply

We seek adventurous, progressive educators who are flexible, creative, and passionate about student-centered, experiential learning. A teaching certification and/or relevant degree plus at least three years of experience are required. Montessori or IB training is a strong asset.
